Welcome to Goldberry At Home!
Beautiful Books For Your Heart and Home
Inspired by the lovely wife of Tom Bombadil in Lord of the Rings, Goldberry At Home was established in 2019 in Waco, Texas. Our mission is to offer a variety of treasured classic and living books in all genres for your heart and home. Thus, we carefully curate a quality collection of antiquarian, collectable, and secondhand editions at all price points for the educator, the home librarian, the gift-giver, and the collector.
Specialties
We specialize in the Golden Age of Illustration, fairy tales & folklore, natural history, children's books & educational materials, poetry, literature, and the great books of the Western tradition.
Personalized library-building services
In addition to selling beautiful books, we offer personalized consultation and book-hunting services to help you build the ideal library for your home or school. Previous and current projects include an antiquarian Jane Austen collection, a bibliophile’s reference library, and a timeline shelf of living history books for all ages. Our philosophy and recommendations are heavily influenced by British educational philosopher Charlotte Mason and the Western tradition.
Where to find us
We are based in Waco, Texas, and sell online, by appointment, and occasionally at rare book fairs. Send us an email if you’d like to get in touch, and follow us on Substack and Instagram for bookish musings and updates.
